The Craft Studio offers short-term craft workshops for people in and around Nottingham in a relaxed, crafty setting. By interacting with us through our website you’re agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
The Craft Studio address is 63 Derby Road, Nottingham NG1 5BA. Our contact telephone number is 0115 947 4010.
We value your business, so we’ve tried hard to make our terms as fair and balanced as possible. These terms apply on any orders and although they cannot be changed on an individual purchase, we welcome your input. Feel free to contact us.
Booking a workshop
Due to the special nature of our workshops and the very limited enrolment, classes are non-refundable and there are no transfers or reschedules. Please check your diary carefully before you sign up. Of course, if you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to send someone in your place; please provide your replacement’s name, phone number and email address in advance of the workshop. When purchasing via the website using your debit or credit card, payments will show on your statement as TCS/VT NOTTS
Our right to cancel a workshop
If a workshop is cancelled, we’ll try to give you as much warning as possible to the email address you’ve provided to us. We will refund any fees or transfer you to a workshop of the same price, space permitting. However, we cannot accept responsibility for wasted travel or other costs or for disappointment.
Purchasing gift vouchers
Vouchers for workshops at The Craft Studio can be purchased and redeemed online and are valid for 6 months after purchase. We will email a personalised voucher to the email address used to purchase the voucher which you can then forward to your recipient or print out for delivery yourself. As we cannot control what is done with a voucher once purchased, your normal statutory right of cancellation within 7 working days is therefore waived. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
Returns & Refund Policy
You have the right to return your purchase, excluding workshops, within 14 days of delivery. The goods will need to be returned at your own expense and need to be unused, unwashed and in a resellable condition. Once the returned goods are received, we will offer a refund within 14 days of receipt. If the goods have been purchased in store, we will offer an exchange or credit note. If you’d like to return an item that you feel may be faulty then let us know via email before sending the goods to us. You must make sure that it is returned to us unused, uncut and unwashed otherwise we cannot refund you or take responsibility for the fault.
From time to time we issue special codes and discount vouchers for our products that can be redeemed online. This also includes vouchers that are created when you submit a review. All codes issued can not be used with other codes (including gift vouchers) when purchasing online. Discount codes for reviews are valid for 1 month from the date of publication.
Guest & User Accounts
To register for a class you need to provide an email address and a phone number. If you wish to track previous purchases then you will also need to provide a password. Keep this information safe as you are liable for any misuse through your account should it occur.
For convenience group bookings can be made if there are more than 4 people attending and choose their own date. In order to secure a date, the group must pay a non refundable deposit of £50, with the full balance paid 7 working days before the start of the course. If the class is due to start within 7 days then the class must be paid for in full. Kids parties must be paid for up front and in full to reserve the date.
Limitations on our liability
Our liability in relation to purchases of vouchers, products or workshops is limited to the value of the order except for claims relating to our negligence which are limited to a maximum of £1,000,000 and in the unlikely event of a claim for death or personal injury arising from such negligence in which case our liability is unlimited.
Third party rights
No third party other than donees of vouchers are intended to the benefit of these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Interpretation of these terms
In our terms we use headings to help you navigate the document easily. Please note however that the headings themselves are not part of the terms and are just “flags” to help guide you. Therefore, the wording of the headings does not effect the interpretation of the terms.
The Craft Studio is based in and operates in the UK and therefore the laws of England will apply to the interpretation of these terms and, in the unlikely event of a dispute, we agree wherever possible to attempt to resolve the matter through mediation and otherwise through the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts of law.
