A Jubilant January!

Well, I have to say that our January classes in the new venue have definitely brought out the creativity in people!.[divider_padding]

I have been amazed at the design ideas and standard of work during my 5 week Sewing For Fun course and we have had great feedback from our very first Dress Making course too.[divider_padding]

My Wednesday evening felt makers have been very artistic and April’s Crochet course was full to the brim. There was a good turn out for Brit’s first Polymer Clay class and as always, Sarah’s Beginners Book Making went down a treat. In my Applique and Free Machine class I met a lovely woman called Sam, who had traveled just over 60 miles to attend!.  Luckily,  she went away a very happy lady ( phew!)[divider_padding]

I have been busy updating the gallery,  so please drop by and take a look at all the fab work.[divider_padding]

The workshop side of the new venue is complete and whilst Brian is putting up shelves and making several trips to Ikea, I am currently unpacking all manner of loveliness. My shop sign has arrived and once the outstanding things on my list have been ticked, the shop will be open for business.[divider_padding]

I will be having a little get together and will let you all know in advance the official date and time, but until then, thank you to all the people who helped with the move. I couldn’t have done it without you.[divider_padding]

Here’s to Spring and the sunshine it brings![divider_padding]

  1. Clare, thanks so much for a brilliant time at the ‘Sewing for Fun’ course – I learned so much, and will definitely be back soon! I love your new venue too, and wish you lots of luck and happy times there!
