Applique is the art of fusing fabrics together! During this workshop your child will learn how to draw a design, cut and then fuse with an iron . This design technique can be used todecorate everyday items such as bags, t-shirts and cushion. It will encourage children to recycle and customise unwanted or outgrown clothes. We we also look at finishing touches such as hand embroidery and adding buttons.
A plain bag will be provided but please feel free to bring along a plain t-shirt.
This workshop is for children aged 8 +
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Refreshments will be available for the children and tea and coffee for the adults at no extra charge.
